If you are a gun enthusiast like I am this is the documentary for you. This is an interesting and educational series that examines the key events in the progression of firearms, from their invention to the present day. There some very interesting information shared over the 7 episodes.
“This is my rifle. This is my gun. This is for fighting. This is for Fun”
This exposition traces the historical trajectory of firearms from their inception to the contemporary era, highlighting pivotal technological advancements, the strategic significance of seminal armaments, and notable tactical engagements, with a predominant emphasis on the American historical context.
So this documentary covers 400 years of gun history, celebrating guns when they're being used in big, all-out wars. It glosses over how often guns show up in everyday crime and cold-blooded murders throughout history. That said, Billy the Kid does get a quick shoutout!
The best part is how it zooms in on US arms, giving you some real insights into what led up to the American Revolution. It also keeps reminding you that no two wars are ever the same, which actually shapes how rifles are designed.
HEADS UP: The attached video is the FULL Series. Its all I could find to use in the posting. The good news is that you can just sit back and view all 7 episodes with no commercials.
