Preditor: Badlands
I know what you’re thinking….not another Predator! But wait, given that this is the seventh edition of the Predator series it is NOT your typical Predator movie. In fact aside from the very first one with Arnold (my favorite), this one is extremely well done and way better than previous 5 films.

First off I saw this at home and paid $29.99 on Prime to watch it. I can honestly say it truly was worth every penny to rent it!. Definitely one of the best Si-Fi thrillers I’ve seen in months as demonstrated by the Critics-85% and Public-95% likes.
If you’ve been watching the promo’s for this film its been touted as being one of the most excitingly entertaining films of the year. Cinematography is amazing with a planet full of creatures who’s only goal is to KILL YOU!. its visually stunning.
What make this film different from the previous one is this is the closest you’ll ever come to seeing the Predator as an actual character with personality speaking in their native tongue and it works really well.
Action and fight sequences are amazing. Predator is as badass as ever. Pacing slows a little in the 2nd half, but for good reasons in the continuation of the story line. There is an element of humor filtered in throughout the film that makes this even more pleasurable to watch.
Overall I loved this and would hope that there is a sequel to the film. If you have the time and the $$ see it on any IMAX theater for sure. It worked really well on my 7:1 Surround Sound on my 86’” Big Screen in the comfort of my home!
