This is not your typical War Movie. The main focus is primarily on the weather forecasters selected to provide General Eisenhower with the exact day to execute the largest invasion in the history of the world.
“How can the weather be boring? It feeds us. The weather can destroy us. It controls our daily life. I don’t think that’s boring.”
The claim to this film is this is the untold story of the people behind the scenes who are franticly under “PRESSURE” to prove a perfect and certain window for the invasion.
This film provides the unbelievable details to the depth by which these forecasters went thru to achieve the answer to the success or failure of the beginning of the end of Nazi grip on Europe.
The pace of this film is spot on, never a dull moment. I am an WWII buff and I was absolutely glued to the screen throughout!
This extremely interesting film about the weather’s effects on the war, although unexpected was very captivating. They did an amazing job of portraying the stress, and dread that was felt in every scene.
My opinion - Pressure is a must-see film.
