If you can get past all the previous publicity with Alec Baldwin and the death of the individual while filming the movie and focus on this film for its merits, you will enjoy this well made western.

Rust is a raw, real western experience, unlike polished Hollywood films. It’s rare for a film to take such chances, and Rust deserves credit for its raw and real nature.
Rust is a film with significant accomplishments that are not only impactful but also tell a compelling, structured story of growth, challenge, and resolution. It will be forever intertwined with the tragic events that marred its production.
Joel Souza delivers a compelling Western with strong performances. In summary, while Rush may not revolutionize the Western genre, it presents a meticulously crafted and visually captivating entry that simultaneously evokes a sense of classic and contemporary elements.
